Local Government Reorganisation – Update

An update on the latest progress with plans for Local Government reorganisation.

The Government is currently seeking views on the proposals that have been put forward for unitary local government for Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Portsmouth and Southampton. 

The consultation is open until 11 January.

Winchfield Parish Council has responded to the consultation and answered “don’t know” to the majority of the questions with a detailed explanation which can be found attached below.
