On 14 October Hampshire County Council’s Cabinet met to consider proposals relating to Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs), passenger transport services, School Crossing Patrols, and homelessness support services. These services had all been identified as potential areas to make savings to help close the two year budget gap of £175 million. The Cabinet decision means that all HWRCs will be retained along with all School Crossing Patrols. There will however be changes and reductions in areas such as homelessness support. The full details can be found on the Hampshire County Council website.
