Winchfield Parish Council responds to the Murrell Green Planning Application

Winchfield Parish Council has worked with Hook and Hartley Wintney Parish Council's along with various professional consultants to submit a very comprehensive response to the Murrell Green planning application consultation.

Winchfield, Hook and Hartley Wintney Parish Councils have joined forces to object to the proposed development at Murrell Green.

Planning application 26/01201/OUT proposes a major development on the countryside between the three communities. We recognise the need for new homes, but have serious concerns about the scale and location of this proposal and its impact on our communities, countryside, wildlife, heritage, roads and already stretched infrastructure.

In response to strong local concerns, the three Parish Councils have commissioned independent specialist advice on planning, transport, ecology, landscape and heritage. This evidence forms the basis of our joint objection.
